You do not need to be referred by your GP or Psychiatrist. However, if you are claiming through a private insurance company, this may be a condition of your referral. Thus it is wise to contact your health insurance company and clarify the position before making an appointment. Other health professionals can also make referrals to my service. If you have any questions that you would like answered before you make an appointment, I can arrange a brief telephone conversation.
Making the initial contact can feel quite daunting for many people. If you do not feel that you wish to speak to me at present, but have questions that you would like answered, then please email me at either of the addresses below. If you would like to speak to me, or would like to go ahead and arrange an appointment, please telephone.
If I am unavailable, I may be with a client, so please leave a message on the answering machine, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Please be assured that all communication will be in the strictest confidence. Should I need to leave a message for you, it will be discreet.
